Pero no se rodarán a la vez como las sagas de "Matrix", "Pirates of the Caribbean" o "La Herencia Valdemar". Ni tampoco se trata de un film dividido en dos.

"El futuro de Ellas" estará compuesto por dos historias, totalmente diferentes, que pueden existir la una sin la otra, pero que juntas, forman un todo. La segunda entrega, que todavía no tiene título, sólo se rodará si la primera tiene éxito.

Actualmente se está escribiendo el tratamiento de guión, en el que habrá elementos de literatura fantástica y política ("Children of Men", "Icon"), televisiva ("24") y cinematográfica ("Matrix", e incluso "Aliens"), aunque NO será una reinterpretación, ni un "remake" del cortometraje, pues en aquel, el HOMBRE se había extinguido, cosa que no será utilizado en el nuevo guión, aunque si se reutilizaran los personajes y los nombres de algunos de ellos.

La película estará escrita y dirigida por Rubén Arnaiz ("Doble sesión"), también productor, y producida por Amblost Media S.L.
